Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo is a film directed by Luca Lucini, based on the novel by Federico Moccia. It was released in cinemas in Italy on 12 March 2004. This film tells the story of a man named Hache played by Mario Casas and Babi played by MarĂa Valverde who have a quite complicated relationship because they have very different backgrounds in life. I still remember watching this film when I was in the 2nd grade of high school in 2016, and I discovered this film 12 years after this film was released.

Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo or 3MSC, which means "Three Steps Over Heaven", is a Spanish-language film so subtitles are needed in English so that the audience can understand this film. However, until now it is very difficult to find the subtitles for this film because this film on various official sites is quite old. Besides that, in my opinion this film is very focused on their fights and sexual life which is completely monotonous so that I sometimes feel bored for certain scenes. The sound effect used when Babi fights Daniela is exaggerated and does not match the movements when they hit each other and the punches that are given don't look so real and made up.

Another thing about this film that I really regret is some moral messages that can be misinterpreted because this film shows that Babi and Hache have promiscuity, fight, and leave their parents for their relationship which is truly unhealthy or known as " Toxic Relationship "until the end of the story without any stages or film elements. In simple terms, the plot has several stages, starting from introduction, conflict, complication (complexity), climax, breakdown, to completion. I feel that there is no clear completion in the film, this is certainly a stepping stone for film producers to make viewers curious and look forward to the second season of the film.

Even so, I really enjoyed the film because there were several moral messages that I could conclude and I also experienced a little culture shock when I watched the film which seemed "free".
